Clothespin Snowflake

We haven’t had much snow yet where I live, so I thought I would make my own.

Clothespins (I used eight for each snowflake)

White paint and a paint brush

Clear glue(I used spray enamel)

White or clear sparkles/glitter (the sparkles/glitter that I used was called diamond dust)

First you want to disassemble the clothespins by removing the springs from between the wood pieces.

Then glue the smooth ends together.

Next, paint them white. I used an extra intact clothespin to hold the part of the snowflake while I painted it.

Glue each clothespin end to the other ends (pointy end facing out) making a circle.

To finish my snowflake I sprayed it with a clear enamel that I found at my house. Then immediately after, I dusted some sparkles on it so they would stick.

The snowflake is complete. I made several more and hung them around my house, but you can also glue them together and make a cool wreath for your door. If anyone makes this I would love to see a picture of your version.
